LIBRA

Coin collectors became hugely interested not just in the silver coins, but also in the golden 'Zodiac Signs' coins.

Obverse: in the central part there is the emblem of the Republic of Armenia. Above the emblem there is the mintage year of the coin and below the face value of the coin, 100 dram in the Armenian language. The emblem is surrounded with twelve symbols which illustrate each of the Zodiac Signs. On the rim, in the upper part of the coin there is a semicircular inscription 'The Republic of Armenia' in Armenian, and at the bottom the name of the issuer in English.

Reverse: in the foreground there is the image of Libra, below there is a dab of pale blue and green which imitates afterglow. In the background of Libra there is its Zodiac constellation - one of the twelve constellations through which the ecliptic runs; on the right hand side there is a graphic symbol of the Sign. On the rim of the coin there is an inscription 'Libra' in English and in Russian.

The ruling planet for Libra is Venus. Libras feel a strong need for comfort and luxury, the latter being one of their basic needs. People born under this sign are open, sincere and honest. They are ideal partners because they are excellent at understanding people and their optimistic approach to life makes it easy for them to approach others.
